A more detailed Report designed for traditionally built property constructed post 1850. This is a concise, easy to read Report on the general condition of the property. In it we will identify significant defects and repairs that are essential at the time of our inspection, together with an appraisal as to forthcoming maintenance liabilities and other valuable information relating to the property.
This Report will also contain our opinion of the market value of the property in its current condition and you will be provided with an assessment of the estimated current rebuilding cost of the buildings for insurance purposes.
Our Surveyor’s main objective in providing the service is to assist prospective house-buyers to:-
- Make a reasonable and informed judgment on whether or not to proceed with the purchase
- Assess whether or not the property is a reasonable purchase at the agreed price
- Make clear what decisions and action should be taken before contracts are exchanged.
